Hello,

I tried to remove the blue sky from this image. It works for the image part where there is just the mountain, but not for the part with the tree branches on the upper right side.
I also tried it with the translucator and it works a bit better, but not really satisfying.

Are these tools actually intended for this kind of background removing?

You can use Defringe Zone tool in order to cut sky on the tree branch or use Translucator.
Example


Just now Background Remover does not process such type (sky and tree branches, jewelry) of image in full measure.
The next version of Background Remover will process such images much better.

All registered customers will be upgraded free of charge.

That's good news and it would make the tool much more valuable. In the meantime I grabble with the tedious color channel mask approach Grin.
