I have yet to give your new tool a workout.
But somehow  I have the impression that the tranlucator functionality should actually be a part of the background remover?
What is the difference in detail?   or is the translucator providing a subset of the background remover functionality?

Hello Lutz,

Translucator is dedicated to extract semi-transparent objects. Background Remover extracts opaque objects on complex textured background.а This is a main functionally differences.
Translucator makes color unmixing on all object area, so transparent object will looks naturally on different backgrounds. For example if you process glass object that placed on a blue background, then place extracted glass to other background (for example red), the extracted glass will seen reddish instead bluish.

Background Remover unmix colors in Уdefringe zoneФ only. It was made for hair, fur, strips extractions. The defringe zone must bounds to background and object to success processing.
The Translucator has no such restriction.

Background Remover and Translucator are two different products for different purposes.
