Backgroundremover is isn't removing background

win xp, sp3  4 gigs memory

Using PSPx2

Promote background, click on background remover 3

Use green mark object to choose person as in demo

Use red magic wand to choose background as in demo

Status bar goes halfway across, then clears...nothing happens.

No mask is shown under mask view, just the green and red lines.

Occasionally get a window: Excuting: mask

What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

There are two ways of background removing with Magic wand:

1.   You mark an object (by green) and a background (by red) and then click Magic wand. To get a result you need to change any of Magic wand settings. Then you can additionally mark any backgrounds areas and Magic wand automatically gives you a result.
2.   You mark an object (by green) and then click Magic wand. To get a result you need to mark a background (by red).

Following the first way you do not need to duplicate the initial selection after clicking Magic wand. If you are going to work with Magic wand only choose the second way.
