Very useful plugin,
impressive local contrast enhancement with relatively few artifacts.
I did get the pro version and find myself using it with a radius setting of only 1 pixel a lot.

There might be a bug in the Noise Reduction setting.  When I am switching on noise reduction for large images, the complete image ( and the resulting layer in PSP X) becomes transparent.  I agree, where there is transparency , there is no noise    Wink     but I did expect a different outcome.

Hi,

Thank you for your bug report. You are right; there was bug in noise reduction feature in layer processing. We have fixed it and send corrected version to all our customers.

ATTENTION:
If you are Magic Enhancer Pro customer and do not receive updated version, please write to sales (at) imageskill (dot) com and we send corrected version directly.

Thanks for the superquick bug fix.  The updated plugin is working as expected with Photoline32; however, since the update PSP X does not finish its startup process anymore.  Both programs are using the same plugin-folder, indicating that the installation should have worked fine.  The PSP problem persists no matter if I have used photoline before or not.
Any ideas?
thanks in advance!

Hi,

I do not understand what does mean your phrase
"however, since the update PSP X does not finish its startup process anymore." ?

I can not find any problems in my version Magic Enhancer Pro and PSPX. I used images up to 100Mpixels andа Enhancer works fine on my machine.

Can you send more detailed problem's description? Or may be small script or screenshots with link to used image?
Please, send it to support@imageskill.com and I hope that we can solve problem if we realize it.

Dmitry

Update:
>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I was able to restore PSP by pressing the SHIFT key while starting PSP to make it revert to the default workspace.
I do not have any good explanation but somehow the PSP workspace must have got corrupted . I do not know if this was related at all to the plugin update, but I did get suspicious because I do not remember doing anything else with PSP on this day.
