I get an error message:
Please run this program from Administrator account so it can set up your license ...
I'm starting Photoshop Elements 6 as "Administrator" Account (the name of this Account isn't of course "Administrator"), but I get this error message too.
Operating System is Vista SP1 (german)
What is going wrong?

Hello,

We think that your current account does not admin right.
Please check it or create new account with Administrator rights.

Or install Background Remover in any place (Default is C:\Program File\ImageSkill\Background Remover)

Run (or re- run) Adobe PHE6
When you run Adobe PHE6, choose from menu item ?Edit? mode. It is important.

1. Run command "Edit->Preferences->Plug-ins & Scratch Disks"
2. Check "Addition Plug-ins Folder" flag
3. If there are no Additional plug-ins Folders then Set the path to the Background Remover (for example  C:\Program Files\ImageSkill)
4. Click OK button
5. Re-run PHE 6.0

The Background Remover should appear in Effect -> ImageSkill -> Background Remover menu.

Open an image (for example in JPG format).
This is ?background?, i.e. we have not Alpha channel (or transparency channel)

You can see it on ?Layer"  palette. (You can show this palette by ?Windows->Layers? command).

Our plug-in (like all masking program) works under data with transparency (co-called layers).

Create a layer using command ?Layer->New->Layer form Background?

You can check layer creation in ?Layer window? (menu? Windows->Layer?)

Before layer creation

After layer creation

Run Background Remover (menu ?Filters->Image Skill->Background Remover?)

Mark object  color, select ?Magic Wand? tool and make mouse click.

In ?Magic Wand? tool you can click and drag for erasing background or Right-click and drag for restoring object.

Set Show Mat to Cyan in View options

All right. Press OK and return to PHE6

Just now Background Remover version 3.0 is available.

You can download it from http://www.imageskill.com/backgroundremover/BackgroundRemover_Demo_Setup.exe
