Hello,About two years ago we released the first version of Image Repainter plug-in for Windows performing global or local (within a selected area) color transfer in an image. Our users wrote us that getting some experience in recoloring with it they learn how to make a lot of initially colorless photos more impressive and more pleasurable. It does not mean that Image Repainter can solve all the problems in color transfer but there are some subject images where it allows getting dramatically improved the look of them. It concerns primary various unnatural color cast in landscape photos. Look at the example below where seaside photo (left) is not blue enough. We tried the Image Repainter and got the result that recalls our feeling safe (right). In the middle the template image is shown where colors were borrowed.

There is another may be some funny possibility to apply a color atmosphere of your favorite painter to your photo. It is not so easy in general but in some special cases the color transfer is possible and can produce believable results like in the example below. The template image (in the middle) is a reproduction of УAn Unknown WomanФ by Kramskoy.

All users that are not interested in global color transfer are selecting only a part of an image where they are going to alter the color, preserving other imageТs details and natural look. Look at the example below where a girlТs hat was selected first and then Image Repainter was applied to selected hat only.
